This Commercial project in Dwarka is based on the concept of Design Build Finance and Operate. Omaxe Group has acquired 50.4 acres of land area from the DDA. The project will have indoor and outdoor sports facilities being constructed. A lump sum amount of INR 1,300 crores to INR 1400 crores would go to the sports complex. The remaining funds will be used to expand the shopping district.
The commercial space will provide shopping, dining and entertainment options for the visitors. After 30 years, DDA would take over the construction and maintenance of sports arenas and clubs that the developer has built. The planned commercial and sports complex development will have a lease of 99 years.
As per the terms of the agreement with Delhi Development Authority. Omaxe will build an outdoor stadium with the capacity of at least 30,000 people. The stadium will be for both cricket and football on the international level.
